Any ideas who Hillary or Bernie might choose as a running mate? Forget Warren -- she's out.
And would Trump REALLY be that stupid to choose Caribou Barbie? I don't think so.
Thoughts?

(9,688 posts)That would show the world the whole depth and substance of US "issues based" politics, which puts Trump ahead of the field.
I would whole heartedly support anyone blessed by the oligarchy to run with Rodham Clinton or Bush, because how could that be wrong? How could that not be the most comforting thing? Such a contest would be a cliff-hanger, for sure, as voters decide which ticket would make them feel safer, more warmly embraced by the powers of the mighty.
But now I'm confused by your OP. Why should we "forget Warren"? If nothing else I think she will be a key advisor to Bernie as he chooses his cabinet. Nothing could be more natural and everyone knows it. True, they don't share the same politics across the board, but there can be no doubt that the two share much the same mind regarding problems of economics - which is a rather large topic. This contrasts with how I compare/contrast Warren with Rodham Clinton. In any event, I hope that Bernie continues to advance the cause of progressive politicians. Now you aren't going to like this one bit, since you told us to "forget Warren", because there's a sense in which a Sanders/Warren ticket would be gold. That's the same sense as being desperately put forth for a "one term" Biden/Warren ticket (I assume we've all heard *that* click-bait story!), that propels into a Warren presidency in the next round and that clinches the corporate status quo for the next four years. I can't see how a Sanders/Warren ticket is less reasonable than that outlandish speculation.
