Religious Right Will Pay Fines & Legal Expenses Of KY Clerk.

That clerk is making a great financial move. She will have all her expenses paid by RW religious fundamentalists. There will be a national fund for her and she will probably end up a millionaire with all the donations that will be sent. She will probably not see a single hour in jail because of the propaganda generated if she were jailed. It would justify the claim of religious persecution.

And religious persecution will be played 24/7 to bring the base out. And the GOP will be shouting from every roof top in support of the religious extremists. Of course the media will help as well.

and personally, not "in her capacity as". Because she has defied an unquestionably legitimate and lawful court order, the state would in all likelihood not be required to defend or reimburse her.

Let's see just how brave these witless jebus-wheezers really are when push comes to shove.

Her Mama raised her right, she believes in marriage. Again and again.

She believes in marriage, over and over and over again.

Unless you're gay.

Pity she's never read that book she keeps thumping. Jesus had a lot to say about divorced women and remarriage. He had nothing to say about gays...or abortions.

she was "hot" (his word) and because she got ratings. Even Greta van Sustern had to get a fair amount of plastic surgery to be considered acceptable on FOX.

She'll have to pay taxes on all that donated money that doesn't go to her attorneys. And, from a jail cell.

The crowd funding for bigots will wear out. As you point out, she has wedged herself into a windfall. Take it as a measure of how many feel they have 'lost' this one.

Criminal contempt has set maximum fines, but civil just has to coerce the person into following the courts order.
