Here is a good article about John Kasich. Do not be fooled, Kasich is not a moderate in any way.

http://www.alternet.org/election-2016/10-reasons-why-john-kasich-rabidly-right-wing-rest-gop-presidential-candidate-pack

"After working for Murdoch and prior to being elected, Kasich spent his time hawking junk assets for the now-defunct Lehman Brothers investment bankers. He helped sell these worthless assets to the tune of $500 million into Ohio’s public retirement system, particularly the State Teacher’s pension funds. He made untold millions, which he refused to disclose, while looting the pensions of school teachers and public employees."

There is a lot more information in the article. Kasich has no compunction against stealing the public blind. The ripoff of the public school tax dollars is another massive scandal. Most of the tax dollars are funneled to a few Republican owners of very bad charter schools who turn around and funnel massive contributions back to the OhioGOP. The children are of course do not get educations, but the GOP does not care about them once they are born. Here is a link to a recent charter school scam. http://www.plunderbund.com/2015/08/27/columbus-charter-school-shutters-doors-where-are-student-records-where-is-395000-in-funding/
"According to ODE, FCI Academy received a payment of $184,364.14 on July 9, followed by a payment of $211,408.11 on August 12 — barely two weeks ago. Where is that money now? The school received those payments for reportedly planning to enroll 296 students in the upcoming school year. Now that enrollment has hit ZERO, what is that money being used for if not on being responsive to parents seeking to enroll their children elsewhere?

In addition to the question of where that money has disappeared to, we’d like to know when the school districts who had to fork over that money to the school will get it back. The Columbus City School District, where over 96% of the students enrolled at FCI Academy were coming in from, was already forced to pay FCI approximately $383,000 under Ohio’s charter school funding model."

his on-stage persona (honed on his years on Fux) to come across as the "aw shucks", "down-home" fella you would share macaroni and cheese with at your church supper. But beyond that, he's a committed, hard-core ultra conservative screw the poor Rethug who is just smarter than the other performing monkeys and sells himself better. If he ever became the nominee I think we might have difficulties.

He needs to be stopped before he gets started good. He will be the one they will turn to as the anti-Trump. He sounds so persuasive. he is smooth and sneaky. He went with the ACA just for this moment.

Seriously, he is a true sociopath and will do anything to obtain power. He scares me far more than any of the rest of the clown car, because he is so good at manipulation. He can sound almost reasonable, but his actions are aimed at harming people. He really is a the creepiest and scariest of all the GOP candidates. Walker is similar, but is not anywhere as cunning as Kasich.

Someone should track down Kasich's first wife and have a chat with her. Kasich, in the little bits of information that leaks out about him, is extremely abusive to people who he views as having no power. One used to be able to find little articles about him abusing waiters and waitresses on the internet, but those appear to have been scrubbed, as I can not longer find them on line.

All the GOP candidates are bad, but Kasich is truly someone who never should be allowed anywhere near the Whitehouse. The damage he is doing to Ohio is unprecedented. Kasich is dismantling the public sector in Ohio at record pace. You would think that people would have been completely outraged when he took all the local governments' share of the state income tax away from them forcing massive layoffs and forcing most cities and counties to ask for tax increases to offset the slashing of their revenue. These tax increases, of course, hit the people who can least afford it the hardest. There was barely a mention of this outrageous action in the media outlets here in Ohio. Kasich's budget for Ohio has increased drastically thanks to that claw back of revenue, while he slashed the income tax for his wealthy friends and family, yet the state services continue to be cut. Where is all the money going to? No media outlets are asking this question.

No - he was just doing the "love the sinner, hate the sin" thing.
And he is all about that Balance the Budget - and you know on whose backs that budget would be balanced.
Yes, his great strength is that he does not seem crazy or unbalanced when sitting with the other candidates, and he can speak in complete sentences.

That the media gives him a pass on his comments on gay marriage just shows how pathetic the media has become. He has a track record and it is not good.
