I mean, it cant be good if your lawyer quits in the middle of an arraignment.

I doubt he will face a single day in jail, but sometimes dreams do come true.

The old saying about rats and a sinking ship comes to mind http://www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2015/08/28/ken_paxton_anti_gay_texas_attorney_general_is_in_legal_trouble.html
Since Paxtons indictment, he has burned through three lawyers; the latest lawyer to jump ship did so at Paxtons arraignment on Thursday, citing attorney-client disputes. (Prosecutors are concerned that the lawyer switcheroo is just a delaying tactic.) At that same disastrous proceeding, Paxton also failed to stand when addressing the bench, prompting a stern warning from the judge. And when Paxton lectured the judge about why cameras should be barred from his trial, the judge cut him off, noting that he would decide how to run his courtroom.

And then take Abbott with him.

wealthy and guilty in America than poor and innocent.
Paxton and everyone that voted for him in Texas is disgusting.
