Confederate flag foes to rally at Melbourne City Hall (FL)

... United Third Bridge, a Melbourne-based Hispanic civil rights group, plans to demonstrate from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 25 outside Melbourne City Hall to oppose the city's sponsorship of events that feature the Confederate battle flag.
The demonstration will feature speakers and sign-waving protesters, UTB President Samuel Lopez said.
And if the Melbourne City Council does not change its policy, Lopez said his group will organize an economic boycott of goods and services within city limits.
“The same thing happened in South Carolina. And when they brought their flag down, their boycott was taken away,” Lopez said ...
