Women do have our problems here in the US

but let's never forget our sisters that have it so very much worse:

https://www.amnesty.org.in/action/detail/appeal-cm-akhilesh-yadav-to-protect-the-dalit-sisters-at-risk-of-being-rape

On 24 May, 23-year-old Meenakshi Kumari and her 15-year-old sister fled their village in Baghpat district with their family, fearing violence after their brother eloped with a married woman from a Jat (dominant caste) family. On 30 May, their house in the village was ransacked. On 30 July, members of a village Khap panchayat– an unelected all-male village council - ordered that Meenakshi Kumari and her sister be raped and paraded naked, with their faces blackened, as punishment for the actions of their brother.

The family continue to fear for their safety. Another brother, Sumit Kumar, said, “In the panchayat, the Jat decision is final. They don’t listen to us. The police don’t listen to us. The police said anyone can be murdered now.”

1. There are so many examples of terrorists intimidating females, can we forget Malala Yousafzai shot

because she dared to want an education by terrorists, the states who are enacting laws threatening charges due to miscarriage, etc trying to halt abortions in cases of rape and incest, yes, this intimidation is acts are like groups to terrorize women worldwide.

Joe Scarborough continued to say this morning Hillary compared Republican to ISIS, she never said ISIS, she said terrorists groups. The Taliban treat women terrible, the Republican needs to accept their part in the war on women.

there is a war on women let alone their part in it. But stories like this? How can a group of men - all have mothers, some have sisters - come up with a punishment like this? It's just plain evil.

women on the committee. WTH does a committee place their expertise? In cases of rape they want to jump in and ask, what was she wearing, what was she doing, etc all wrong thinking. And yes you are right, just plain evil.

in the US but I simply don't believe any of them would want to put the punishment of rape into our legal code. This is the kind of story that literally (in the real sense) makes me nauseous.

That's what it all comes down to. I'm not sure religion is the sole reason but it sure doesn't help that the "holy books" they seem to get this crap from were also written solely by men.

Sometimes I think our extinction might not be such a sad thing after all.

We are fast approaching the moment where the human race cannot reverse the devastating effects on the planet's ecosystem.

The clock is ticking down...

Humanity gave us Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, Sophocles and Shakespeare, Michelangelo and daVinci. Not to mention Newton, Einstein, and Feynman, Gandhi, the Buddha, Mandela and Confucius. And The Beatles, Monty Python and George Carlin.

But there are always tens of millions of idiots for each shining light and the numbers game is one that can't be won.

Superstition and greed are the two altars upon which humanity is gleefully sacrificing itself.
