he was separated from the station for quite some time. How did he know where they were and how to find them.

I have a buddy who used to film for CLTV in Chicago. He drove a company van/truck from the office.

(68,918 posts)call in several snippets from the same location throughout the morning news (from 5 to 9). He had 1.5 hours from her first video at the shopping centers to get there.

2. He watched the news cast from the very beginning, they were doing hourly remotes from that same location.

he was in a rented car/suv so he may have chosen to rent it so he would avoid notice which could indicate premeditation and/or stalking. Wonder what his suicide note said. Apparently he posted his recording of the shooting that he captured during the event on social media, perhaps he also left a note about why he did it there as well as the one said to have been found with his body.
