Here's my Trump theory. He sits at the intersection of reality TV as actual reality for supporters.

For those to whom TV - fantasy, inane entertainment - has replaced actual critical thinking, actual reality - he is their dream candidate. Maybe not even the intersection - but beyond the intersection - as in crossed over to the unthinkable.

Another theory - or at least an observation of the devolution...er, evolution - of the "quality" of repub presidential candidates. B Grade movie actor...."businessman" who failed at everything he touched (the shit version of Midas) but "I want to have a drink with that guy" - with the explosion of popularity of "reality" TV, you get Trump.

No matter how it is explained, it utterly boggles the sane mind.

Trump is an idiot. Can you imagine this idiot hosting state dinners let alone discussing foreign policy? I can't. Don't even get me started on working with congress. They'll cut him off at the knees....regardless of party affiliation no less.
