Out-trumping Trump

Quite apart from how feckless all the Republican candidates are, you have to marvel as well at their stupidity. Oh, sure, they are all Michelle - the Great Wall of China kept Mexicans out of China - Bachmann foolish. That's a given, as they have an R after their names. But stupid campaigner.

Republican candidates, repeat after me, or write 100 times on the blackboard: I cannot possibly out-Trump Trump. He is, thankfully, one of a kind (in a negative way). He says he's against birthright citizenship, and the other candidates want to take it a step further and disallow birthright citizenship of babies whose parents are American citizens. He was to arrest and deport 11 million illegal aliens, and their children, and the other candidates want to add "Asian" anchor babies and their families. He wants to build a 2,000 mile wall, and the other candidates want to build a 3,000 mile wall between Mexico and the US as well as Canada and the US.

Now, pay attention Republican candidates. Recall the definition of madness. Doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. For those of you still polling in the single digits, maybe you should take that a tad more seriously. You cannot out-trump Trump. He has had 69 years of being a complete and utter asshole. You all have not. He may or may not be worth $9 billion. Whatever the right number, you are not billionaires.

Here's some advice you don't have to pay for. Try, just once, not to out-trump Trump.

RNC has to have a meeting with the other 16 republican candidates and tell them "We have a problem. Deal with it now or kiss the WH goodbye for eight years one way or the other."

And Priebus has to tell all but three top-ranking candidates to bow out. The strategy would be to force Trump to win with a majority (51% or more) of the voters versus a plurality (26% or so today). Close ranks behind the other candidates. Support them. Open for them at their rallies. Go on TV and radio and FOX.

And if Trump goes rogue with a 3rd party candidacy, there are still those supporters in his camp who WOULD vote republican if push came to shove to keep Hillary, Bernie, Martin, Jim, or Joe out of the WH.

My guess is that the RNC hasn't begun to flex its muscle yet as it's premature.

3. It is obviously not "what" you say in Republican circles, since they ALL say the same thing

Apparently, all that matters is how obnoxiously you say it. Trump is using the big business model of trying to corner the market on obnoxious.
The rest of them are just plain unlikable.
