working on something calculated to fool the people while actually serving Goldman's interest and the interests of the rest of the plutocracy. Then it will be poll-tested, focus grouped and reviewed by Blankfein for acceptability.

These things take time.

in NY. But she does not support a $15 minimum wage.

While Clinton may support a higher wage for workers in New York, she's resisted liberals' calls to raise the national minimum wage to $15 per hour. "I think part of the reason that the Congress and very strong Democratic supporters of increasing the minimum wage are trying to debate and determine what’s the national floor is because there are different economic environments," Clinton said in New Hampshire last week. "And what you can do in L.A. or in New York may not work in other places."

that corporations did, and they were able to get the public to agree to that line of thinking,
they could then do as they pleased.

Democratic politicians have been going along with and sometimes perpetuating this horseshit for too long.

Many seniors and disabled live on SS alone. The average monthly benefit is $1,294 (or $15,528 annually). Poverty level for a single person in the US is $11,770. We really do not take care of our elderly here.

That quote is from back when Democrats were DEMOCRATS.

That all ended in 1992 with the "Centrists" like the Clintons.
Now, we just do old Republican policy.
