Reagan could run a racist campaign. Wrap up the angry white vote and you have a path to the White House in 1980.

In 2016, wrapping up the angry white vote will allow Trump to win the Deep South, but without 40 plus (and the emphasis needs to be on PLUS) percent of the Hispanic vote he loses Virginia, Florida, Nevada, Colorado. Add those to the solid blue states and you have 300 plus EVs.

I just don't see any valid path to 270 for the Donald. The pubbies may flip Ohio, but it won't matter. Due to population shifts and new loses in the west the Donald campaign has screwed them. Like 2012, the media will claim a close race, use polls that over sample the South and the Dem candidate will capture about 320 EVs, an ass whooping.

...if a byproduct of his candidacy is that 14 year old boys start paying attention to politics, that's one good thing.
