"Joe Biden: Move Along, Nothing New"

http://www.talkleft.com/story/2015/8/22/03949/8943/Election16/Joe-Biden-Move-Along-Nothing-New

Today's article does have a new quote:

"Everybody thinks the world of Joe Biden,” said Jay S. Jacobs, a contributor and former chairman of the New York Democratic Party."

Jeralyn does not think the world of him nor do I.

Biden is too close to the law enforcement community for my comfort.

From when Joe was debating on the Senate floor:

"Let me put it another way, Mr. President. In the past 1,000 days, Congress has given the power to the President to take away every penny a drug dealer makes, seize their houses, their cars, their boats, their jewelry, lock them up without parole or probation, and even execute them if need be....We have already done our part, and now it is time for the administration to do its part. The laws are there; the tools are there to make a dent in this horrible crime problem. "

So a low level street dealer should be executed? Nice Joey, real nice.

Joe will have to explain all of this and indicate he has changed. No more kissing the ass of law enforcement.

There was the Iraq war resolution, the whole Anita Hill/Clarence Thomas debacle, being in bed with predatory lenders, and on and on...

He's a nice guy personally and life has sorta taken a big dump on him, but that does not mean he should be president.

I suspect the only reason this talk ever came up is the party bigwigs are close to panic mode over the dying Clinton campaign.

I'd want him to really explain how he's done a 180.

I'd have trouble supporting someone in the primaries who was simultaneously promising the DEA that the minute he became POTUS, they could send troops into legal weed states to round up everyone who has ever smoked a bowl.
