Some Third Way moron on MSNBC

was saying that the term "anchor baby" was not always considered offensive

FUCK THAT!

That term and all of the other offensive "politically correct" terms for people or groups ( the N-word, et al.) have always been considered offensive. It's just that the people who have considered them offensive were just not considered at all by these yahoos who are upset about "political correctness"

Hispanic voters consider this term to be just as offensive as the term "wetback." There are party people who are jumping for joy everytime Jeb or Trump use this term
