Whether it's Gary Condit (2001), saturation coverage of the Swift Boat Liars (2004), media obsession over Hillary's PUMA's (2008), angry old white people screaming at town halls to keep the government out of their Medicare (2009), the "Ground Zero Mosque" (2010), and apparently Hillary's e-mail in 2015.

Something about August that just makes it a bad month if you are a Democrat or on the Left?

On edit: Also, in August 2002 the drumbeat for war with Iraq began. Anybody who questioned that was tarred and feathered as a terrorist sympathizer.
