Tonight Trump said he'd take down the barriers between states for health care

insurance. Then he said he'd be great for women's health organizations. He's smashing through the wedge issue structure the GOP build over 'the base'. This is great news. He's a populist and is deconstructing the GOP platform in parts. He may inadvertenly let them out of their cages. Run free gop base.....run free.

You have to know the type to understand their mindset. They need to have someone to follow. It's a part of what they are at their core. Sure, they'll sway a little bit, but they won't topple entirely if the breeze becomes a wind. There will be resistance within the deepest layers of the branch.

Their base likes an authoritarian in charge of their opinions, just so long as it doesn't go against their deepest held core beliefs of racism and bigotry. You can't take away two of their favorite things to hate and think when someone else hands it back to them they won't be like a toddler suddenly being handed a chocolate bar they'd been told they had to give up. Because they will. It's who they are and how their minds have been trained to work.

Wouldn't we want that? Federal protection? Everyone gets federal protection.....floods, earthquakes, mass murders, hurricanes, droughts, snow storms, tornados.....we all get the federal help we need, usually when we need it.

didn't watch his whole speech. I'm sure there were more examples of him speaking not from the GOP playbook. That's my point. He's not just going far to the right with his nativism. He going left in some cases too. And 25% of the republicans are hanging on his every word. FREE THE GOP 150, 000, 000!

This is a new way of repeating the Republican talking point of buying insurance across state lines. Basically a giveaway to insurance companies, which will sell from the states with the laxest regulations and the most industry-friendly insurance commissioners, and be out of reach of righteously angry consumers whose claims they deny or discount.
