We will see more and more discoveries of "Complex Animal Language" as time passes.
When we begin to understand pheromones and smells, the language gets even more complex.

I have had a 10 year relationship with out local crows/ravens.
They love my Strawberries, and I chase them off every day (along with scarecrows and pie pans).
After 10 years, I have noticed there is always a Lookout Crow, and they have a distinct name for me,
and another distinct name for my wife..... as soon as we step outside.
I can tell when my wife has come outside by the call that the Look Out crow makes.

People at UW who were doing studies with crows had to start wearing disguises because the crows would harass them outside of "class time" and do so for years. I wonder what the students were doing that so pissed off the crows?

So the prairie dogs are fundamentally on the same intellectual level as the reporters who cover the red carpet at the Oscars.
