Huffington Post is starting to get on my brain cells......their headlines reads like the tabloids in the express or not lanes at the store.....WHAT THE THE HELL?????

(63,217 posts)At any time of the day or night, they would have three or four articles above-the-fold about the esteemed young woman from Jersey Shore. I got tired of wading through that crap--as well as the countless bullshit articles by Deepak Chopra and Andrew Weil--simply to get to mediocre opinion pieces.
Not worth the trouble.

(3,447 posts)But really, the media isn't on anyone's side but profit's. If profit is in our cause, we get coverage. If it's in the R's cause, they get coverage.
Relying on any media that features even a single advertisement is pretty much a silly notion at this point.
Edited to add!: As I was reading another thread, it dawned on me I'd left out something important. I'm referring primarily to American and Anglosphere media, not necessarily all media. Sincere apologies if that offended anyone.

Hold it up to the sun to reveal the intricate detail of the smaller veins.
If you have a hand lens, look around at the surfaces of both sides.
Do it right, and you'll have just read a paragraph of the most interesting news story ever told.
