But these days I prefer meteor baths.
Still, they shouldn't be doing this in California, with the water restrictions and all.

I gave it a couple of beats before replying, "No, that's the North Cessna."
He'd spotted the lights of a moving airplane.

they are definitely for night owls! Thanks for the reminder - I may drive out near a lake - just a few minutes away - and see what I can see!

from all the damn fires in the area. I may be able to see a bit, but it won't be the ideal polished night sky like what one would experience up in the Sierra.

millions of stars I and others in big cities can't see because of light pollution. We can only see a constellation here or there - e.g., Orion.
