tRump Is Getting So Ridiculous That I'm Starting To Believe He Must Be A Democratic Plant

I mean, he is entirely outrageous, a caricature of a human being, let alone a supposed presidential candidate.

And the way the true believers are willing to accept anything he says or does. I don't know how many RW women I've seen interviewed on TV who claim they have no trouble with his obvious misogyny and hope he "just keeps speaking his mind," as if spreading filth is a virtue.

Ya know, it's almost as if the Ds devised this really smart strategy to not only expose the corruption that was always there but has been exacerbated by Citizens United, but to get the Rs as people and as a party to declare that they have absolutely no real principles or beliefs outside of "republicans must win." Send in a caricature (i.e.: tRump) of all the real ills that come with being trapped in the RW mindset and let it all run its crazy, natural course.

I don't believe in most CTs, but Jeebus, this is getting so outrageous that the mind races.

tRump is is surely succeeding at bringing the R's absurdity into the spotlight.

You are not alone in entertaining such an idea.

If Trump drops out, and if he really is a plant to make the GOP look like the fools they really are, will he tell them who to vote for, or if he is a plant will he simply tell them "NOT" to vote for any of the republican clowns? Those who are supporting him now are some of the most gullible people I have ever seen, they have to be to actually believe Trump is a serious candidate for president. Will they do what ever Trump tells them to do if he drops out, that is the question, along with what will he tell them to do.

These are far-right wing conservatives who still can't come to grips that the country isn't still living in the 1950s. These are very politically angry people who truly believe society is falling apart and that the country is doomed to fail.

People like Trump attracts these people because Trump is displaying an angry voice and demeanor. He is angering the establishment and showing raw political incorrectness that these people feel needs to be displayed to combat liberalism.

A lot of these people feel that McCain and Romney lost the last elections because they are "moderates" and perceived as "weak men." They feel if the GOP nominates a raw and strong conservative that the victory would be a landslide. They truly believe this. Go look at the comments on Free Republic or Breitbart.

I mean, has a scam that big ever be foisted on the American people?
Is this the real PTB getting frisky?
I've believed for a long time that no-one becomes President of the United States because the 99% (or a Majority of thee 99%) want that man or woman! The 1% present us with their finalists, and about half of the people in the country actually go out and make their preference known.
Trump may just be a shill thrown into the mix to bend public opinion about the serious moral and ethical of our time. He's so outrageous that mere stupidity or meanness becomes acceptable.
I can almost hear it now, the public comfort zone widens: "Carson, Santorum, Cruz, Huckabee. They're not so bad..."

At least that's what I infer from you saying Trump "..all but guarantee(s) a Dem win"?

If he wins the primary and doesn't bow out, he is in it to win it. I do not think that will happen. If he runs independent he knows the left will win and he might do that as a favor to Hillary. Pure speculation but the phone call from Bill and wedding attendance lend sone credence to this theory. I don't think he wants to be president, I've been wrong before. Cheers!

In NH and in Iowa. Not Trump though, Hillary easily beats him by 10+ points. Something really stinks.

I think the Trump effect is making the other GOP candidates look less crazy and it is hurting Hillary against them in heads up polling.

Former president Bill Clinton had a private telephone conversation in late spring with Donald Trump at the same time that the billionaire investor and reality-television star was nearing a decision to run for the White House, according to associates of both men.

Four Trump allies and one Clinton associate familiar with the exchange said that Clinton encouraged Trump’s efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party and offered his own views of the political landscape.
