Democrats learned something in 2012 even if Republicans didn't—attacking Planned Parenthood is bad politics. Now Senate Democrats are targeting the vulnerable Senate Republicans who cast a vote to defund the organization: Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Rob Portman of Ohio, and Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania. Jonathan Easley reports:

The DSCC this week will launch a five-figure "GOP Shutdown Watch" campaign featuring Twitter and Facebook ads and rapid-response news alerts “highlighting the latest developments in the Republican push to attack women’s health and shutdown the government.”

The DSCC media push is also targeting Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who has attracted a primary challenger, and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who is running for president and senator simultaneously.

“Time and again, Republican Senators have voted to defund Planned Parenthood and other women’s healthcare programs, and now they need to answer if they will shut down the government to score cheap political points at the expense of women across the country,” DSCC National Press Secretary Sadie Weiner said in a statement.

Good for Dems. They ceded this fight to the right for a long time. But it's a loser for the GOP. Planned Parenthood just provides too many critical services to millions of women across the country even if the GOP doesn't know it.

5. The problem with the DSCC...

..is that they interfere with local Democratic Primaries, spending their huge bank roll to promote Conservative, Business Friendly, Anti-UNION, Wall Street, 1% "Democrats" and use their DSCC Bankroll to crush any "Liberal"
Democrat trying to run in the local primary.
The DCCC does the same.

If you WORK for a Living, never, EVER donate to the DSCC or the DCCC.
They WILL use your money to work against your Economic interests.

The National Party, or ANY Democratic Organization that raises money nationwide
HAS absolutely NO Business interfering with local Democratic Primaries.

Every time they do (and they do this a LOT) they do so to thwart the Will of the People,
and limit the "Democratic" candidates to ONLY those that the 1% approve of.

from Nicholas Kristoff’s article in NYT…"This in a country where half of all pregnancies are unintended, where 30 percent of American teenage girls become pregnant by age 19.

The Guttmacher Institute, which studies reproductive health, calculates that Title X family planning centers prevent about one million unintended pregnancies a year, of which 345,000 would have ended in abortion. It says that every year Title X clinics avert some 53,000 cases of chlamydia and 8,800 cases of gonorrhea, and save the lives of 1,100 women who would otherwise die of cervical cancer.

In other words, Title X prevents an abortion about once every 90 seconds...."
This should be shoved in the faces of all those ignorant or misinformed senators who voted to defund Planned Parenthood as they have no idea how much good this organization provides…. What other organization can claim to prevent this many abortions every year...yet few people are aware of it.

My question to all is. Who wants Chuck Schumer as Leader of the Senate,now?

Netanyahu is hurting Israel to feed his own lust for power. This last week has shown that many in Israel are protesting against him,causing the Government to crack down on Terrorists among them.Many in Israel back the Iran deal.

I hope no one thinks I am going off topic, because I feel this is all one subject. By voting against the President,what is Chuck Schumer ? It is clear where his loyalties lie. He backs Bibi,a Neocon. Should we try to get rid of him?

Before any one accuses me of anti- Semitism, notice I say how bad Bibi is for Israel.

The two Democratic National parties do not impress me at all.
