If you've never been in the "back row," there's no basis to understand how much harder it is. You tend to frame your outlook based on where you've been.

To the people not in the back rows, everything looks fine, and why is anyone else having trouble? There must be something wrong with them.

I always favored the back row myself - as a place to sit.

Never once seemed like a disadvantage to me, even when I didn't have my glasses.
