Confederate Flag Flies Proud, Protected in Pennsylvania

August 2015 Shark groups protested this Judge, went to courthouse where this Judge was working and were kicked out of the courthouse. Black Lives Matter group has mention in Sharks video report.
Shark tries to have this bigot flag waver PA. Berks county, Judge removed and provides contact information. Black Lives Matter twitter group could really help remove the bigot with thousands of contacts/

Everywhere across the US, the Confederate flag is under attack as a symbol of racist hate.

Everywhere that is, except Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvania, particularly in corrupt Berks County, Pennsylvania.

In Berks County, the Confederate flag is accepted, as is Judge Adolph Antanavage, who shoots live pigeons tossed out of boxes in front of the flag.

Where in the hell would someone get the idea of shooting pigeons in front of a Confederate flag? Judges are supposed to be wise, not perverted.

pulled over and harassed by many police, sued and charged with fake crimes many times, hit/bloodied by some of them, had guns pulled on him, owned one of the first camera drones and had it shot down. protesters almost run over by cars with license plates covered, all documented with video and paper trails.

I wish we could clone Steve, hes been pushing back against the RW radicals, the NRA, kkk goons and their animal cruelty habits, for more then 20 years now.

I mean, Pennsylvania was one of the first states to secede and joint the Confederacy and lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers in the War. Oh, wait... No they didn't.

Penn was one of the largest contingents in the Union army.

But many rednecks migrated north there after the Civil War, well into the 20th Century. Many of the rural counties are hella conservative.

doors, etc.... They gave me the names and addresses of Democrats, to get out the vote, etc... I came across a house that was falling apart, the porch had missing planks, and I could not stand on it, so I went around the back, and found an old geezer sitting in the sun... I started with my introduction, "good afternoon, I'm with the Obama campaign,....." and he stopped me right there. He told me that no way, not ever, was he going to vote for a n***er for President...

I told him 'have a nice day' and I left.

Is a hotbed for racist and skinhead-type groups.
There's the city of Reading, which used to be a nice place to live, lots of work in factories, beautiful old row homes, good schools (my Dad grew up there). City fell on hard times in the 80's as factories closed, people moved to the suburbs and a lot of the houses were turned into rentals.
Maybe as a reaction to what was happening in Reading as drugs and gangs took over, a subculture of ugly racism sprang up in the rest of the county, where countless cookie-cutter housing developments were built on former farms.

once the factories went away, the next generation of kids from all the 'out of jobs workers' didn't have the same wonderful place to live anymore.

As Freddie said, the job market in the area imploded when a lot of factories closed. Two decades of corrupt government have only made it worse (The FBI recently raided city hall and the Mayor's home). For a long time the only meaningful help the city received was from Albert Boscov, owner of a local dept store chain. Things have gotten better recently with a couple block radius of the downtown seeing significant development. The problem is there still are no decently paying jobs and poverty grips the city, which drives up the crime rate. There are problems with criminal activity overflowing out into surrounding communities. The surrounding area has become very hostile / racist with backlash towards the now largely hispanic population of Reading. The decently well off suburbs blame race and ethnicity for Reading's problems instead of poverty. It is a huge mess.

Dad told us that during the Depression, Reading had at least one Socialist Party mayor who really got things done for the people. "Original" Reading was very German, and (according to Dad) there were several active groups of Nazi sympathizers there in the 30's and 40's. Maybe their grandchildren are part of the skinhead/racist element in Berks Co. today.

the Confederate flag and the hoisting of it has not been made illegal here.

Maybe people ought to concern THEMSELVES with their own states and counties?

Freedom and all that. Besides, it helps me identify the assholes more quickly.

But government officials should be restricted, IMHO, and it should never be allowed on public property, anywhere within the borders of the US.
