I know some people like to check out specific forums, others may enjoy the Greatest page, etc. I tend to browse the Latest Threads 99.9% of the time, to see what's happening all over the site. There are interesting posts everywhere!
How about you? What's your preferred method to enjoy this fine site? (though I suppose if you avoid GD, you won't see this post )

(562 posts)and then look at everything - starting with LBN since I like to keep up with the news, then go back up and read the latest threads, and try to peruse the latest discussions on specific topic that I like to go to.
I generally avoid controversial topics, but some topics I will jump to and read or discuss or offer my opinions.
I made a incorrect assumption about Iceland and stated as a fact - I was correctly humbled to admitting my error.

(11,923 posts)I haven't watched network news in ages, and I come here to get the "Latest Threads". The other forums I spend time in is Astrology, Spirituality and Alternative Healing, Cooking and Baking, Humor, Pets, and Science.
At work, I usually have DU up, it's also my main page on my iPhone.

(763 posts)For a couple years, actually, before recently getting an account here for the forums. So far I haven't settled on any specific forums, but tend to comment in General Discussion or Religion, and read links off Science and the Home Page.
