Can anyone explain to me why rational people would promote Jeb Bush to run for the

Presidency after the disaster that was his war criminal brother and after he stole Florida for W.

What's more the worst disaster on the American mainland took place under other idiot Bush.

Because I can't really ascribe much of what republicans think to rational thought. In some cases you can ascribe it to bad information, but even in those cases the information is so clearly fraudulent that you have to really want to believe it.

On the other hand, I have had the annoying experience many times of meeting someone who seemed more or less rational, a good person, and then finding out they are convinced that Bush was a great president and Obama is presiding over a brutal dictatorship. I don't know what to say about that.

had no bad consequences for them.

Their main concern is lowering their taxes, removing regulation and growing fat off the Goverment teat.
Jeb will accommodate.

They are not going to genuflex in front of Hillary, so they need a nominee and he is the only credible guy among them.

fed to them by Fox News makes them "smrt" (err smart). I'm pretty confident that Bernie has the attention of the actual "rational people" segment of the electorate.

Republicans now control both houses of Congress after their failed foreign policy and economic performance less than a decade ago during the Bush/Cheney nightmare.

"Rational" seems a bit of a stretch.
