Oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please.

Oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please. Sarah Palin’s in Las Vegas for a gun show and she just told a reporter from a local ABC affiliate “Yeah, I mean, of course, when you have a servant’s heart, when you know that there is opportunity to do all you can to put yourself forward in the name of offering service, anybody would be interested.” Which is Palin-prattle™ for: who wouldn’t want to be president? Just not necessarily her.

It was a masterful performance, really — the thrust of parry went on and on — but Sarah Palin actually committing to something? Please. All she knows for certain, is that America is ready for a woman president. Just not necessarily her.

"We definitely had enough of seeing that — America has had enough of seeing that — sign on the Oval Office door saying, 'No Girls Allowed.' I know that. It doesn’t necessarily have to be me, though, but no, America is definitely ready for real change."

She has committed to attend the Iowa Freedom Summit, hosted by Congressman Steve King. She’ll join Chris Christie, Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, Rick Perry, Rick Santorum and the newest officially-declared candidate, Ben Carson.

Sarah says she’s "happy to drive that competition. Competition will make everyone better and produce more and be more candid regarding their solutions they will offer this country. I am very interested in that competitive process and, again, not necessarily me.”

I don’t necessarily want her to run — but you have to admit she’s more fun than Donald Trump. Both of them unload a truckload of words and are clearly enamored with the sound of their own voice — but Donald is just a condescending creep about it. With Sarah, I get the sense she knows all too well she’s out of her league — and so she just keeps talking until she hits a combination of sounds that she thinks is sufficiently profound.

For the record: this was not a political event. The reporter caught up with Palin, who’s in town for the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show, at a local Salvation Army, where she was “serving wild boar chili to the homeless.” Naturally. So the charity is really taking a backseat to Sarah Palin promoting shooting animals for sport? You betcha.

Creepy. Best word yet I have heard so succinctly describing the GOP and the mass media. Fred Sanders Aug 2015 #4

And we have a Dem in the White House for another 4 years, during which, hopefully, Scalia and Thomas go home to Jesus.

"she just keeps talking until she hits a combination of sounds that she thinks is sufficiently profound. "

Indeed.
