General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsMorning Joe was really going strong on "advice" to repukes at the debate tonight!
If you missed it, go on their website on msnbc after 9:30 or so EDT for the discussion blocks. Today's show should be up at that time.
Lots of opinions on what the various candidates should "say" or "do." It was a wild ride from all the talking heads. Mika was stronger on pukes and women than I've seen her in a few weeks...she kinda took it to Joe about Jeb's idiocy on women's health funding. They also had poll numbers showing that the public LIKES PP. Embarrassing for Joe who predicted PR disaster for PP just a few days ago. Nothing much about Christie except Mika saying "Don't talk about your sex life, Chris. Just don't." I got a huge laugh about that one!
Mostly they were predicting that each candidate needs to have answers for tricky foreign policy questions since a lot are govs or former govs. They took a dim view of Rubio's chances...they said he shudda stayed in the Senate longer before jumping into the Presidential race. Two commentators had charts about their advice to each candidate's "don't do ___." One was "be aware that Chris Wallace, the moderator, will ask gotcha questions." The Washington Post has a story about it but won't let me cut and paste the link to it...but it looks like Wallace is loaded for bear...
