Rachael is BREAKING NEWs story re: Trump's phone call to Bill Clinton

to get his advice about running, a few months before Trumps announcement.

Trump had a longish conversation with Bill Clinton before his announcement
to get Bill's 'advice' about getting into the GOP race, and Bill basically said "totally, I
encourage you to get into the race"
<-- a paraphrase, but still, this is
pretty weird shit.

Anyone else see that?

A Clinton spokesman confirmed to The Post the phone call happened in late May. In addition to the official confirmation, The Post relied on four anonymous Trump insiders and one unnamed Clinton employee, who said Clinton called Trump back after the real estate mogul had reached out to him.

The Post's Robert Costa and Anne Gearan wrote:

The tone of the call was informal and Clinton never urged Trump to run, the four people said. Rather, they said, Clinton sounded curious about Trump’s moves toward a presidential bid and told Trump that he was striking a chord with frustrated conservatives and was a rising force on the right.
The Clinton employee, meanwhile, told The Post, "we can tell you that the presidential race was not discussed.”

You've got one of the smartest men advising one of the dumbest men. And Clinton wants Hillary to win....so of course he's going to recommend Trump run. He makes the whole republican party look bad.

Now if Trump were smart he would know this and do the opposite of what Clinton recommended.

He understands TV better than any of his rivals. It's show biz.

9. No, you've got two 1%-ers discussing how "it will be" for the rest of us.

You know they are in the same "Club" .. don't you?

They fucking play golf together all the time, so this "one phone call" is
not the anomaly that it's being portrayed as in the M$M.

It's just a tiny nano-glimpse behind the Oligarchical curtain.

this "one phone call" is actually not so much "breaking news" as it is just
one little glimpse into the way 1%-ers routinely collude with one another
to manufacture the "consent" that they all want.

7. Maybe. Or maybe the Democratic "associate" (not "spokesman") is not reliable.

I have trouble figuring out why Trump would decide to reach out for advice to the husband of his probably opponent,

that should actually help clear the road for Mrs. Clinton.

And he's a circus! He's entertaining, no one of any substance takes him seriously, and it makes the messages from genuine candidates all that more important.

I honestly hope that he gets the nomination. With a boatload of idiots on board like palin, it could definitely be entertaining and can't possibly be taken as a genuine threat.

Sure is fun to watch.

I'm waiting for the tax/sex/criminal scandals to soon erupt. I have popcorn.
