I was looking at the fifth anniversary of the rescue of the 33 miners in Peru

earlier. I have to say that the then current President was determined to rescue the miners, am sure you all know this, Americans came to the rescue and all 33 miners were rescued. No matter how the US is perceived in the world, there are many Americans who make a difference and make a lot of sacrifices around the world to help people. I just wanted to express my thanks and admiration to the greatest country in the world, which tries at all times to render help to the disadvantaged.

Basically agree. I think we need to do a few things to ensure "greatest country" continues. Hoyt Aug 2015 #1

because if Americans did not step in, those miners would not be alive today. Every country has its flaws, but America is always there to help except sometimes. You have to give credit when its due and to not always focus on the bad.
