Morning Joe To Elizabeth Warren: 'Stop Insulting Our Intelligence'

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough on Tuesday slammed Sen. Elizabeth Warren, accusing the Massachusetts Democrat of conflating support for women's rights with support for Planned Parenthood.

"You can be against the funding of Planned Parenthood without being against the support of women's health," Scarborough said. "Nice try, Elizabeth Warren."

Planned Parenthood is currently embroiled in controversy over highly edited videos purportedly showing a senior staffer at the organization speaking openly about selling fetal body parts. Warren took to the floor of the Senate Monday, where Republicans proposed a bill that would stop all federal funding to the health care organization.

"The Republican scheme to defund Planned Parenthood is not some surprised response to a highly edited video," Warren said. "Nope, it's just one more piece of deliberate, methodical, orchestrated right-wing attack on women's rights."

Scarborough was having none of it, though.

who doesn't realize that Planned Parenthood IS women's health care. Just because he doesn't need Pap smears and other reproductive screening doesn't mean that WE don't.

That's the problem with these overly entitled males. If they don't need it, nobody does.

That's why we don't have subsidized childcare, paid maternity leave, and guaranteed pre and post natal health care. It's why corporations are fighting tooth and nail to exclude women's health care from their precious insurance plans.

16. And here is how this sort of thing works for them. Indiana closed 5 Planned Parenthood locations

including the one in Scott County which did not even do abortions. These clinics provided to both men and women HIV testing, which they did by the thousands. In Scott County, Planned Parenthood was the only place to get an HIV test at all and that office closed in 2013. So in 2015, Scott County Indiana because the epicenter of a State wide HIV outbreak, over 150 new cases.

So they just did this there, saw what happened and they want to roll it out nationwide. They are ghouls.
