I've come to the conclusion that old ReTHUG white males

are totally jealous of two things - the female vagina and the African-American penis.
They hate the fact that women hold the child-bearing cards and they have genuine penis envy. They hate because they fear - they are genuine chicken shits.

Dude, you're a slow learner. . As for the vagina, men have gone in awe of the menstrual cycle since before recorded history, as the plentiful provisions for "women's huts" and female genital mutilation show. But I have to quibble with you, because I think this fear of the female is not restricted to just old white GOP idiots, it is something that seems to cut across cultures. And is not restricted to primitive societies, as is clear from fundamentalists everywhere.

As for the African-American penis, I can't comment on that. There are scads of publications about the fear of females, but I'm not aware of any scholarly work on the topic of male African genitalia.

but not a rethug (no matter what people think on DU or DI. For whatever I say, keep in mind that I have been a Democratic precinctman since 2004. (For what it is worth, we have elected Democrats here, females, mind you, who are anti-choice (and pro gun))
Now about rethugs. Seems to me that the ones I know - are doing pretty well.

My brother-in-law, for example. Well, he is 45. I am not sure if that is old (it is in my book, but then again, so is 30). He's married to my baby sister, so right there, he's one of the luckiest guys on the planet. At least in the top 10. They are downsizing now - to just one house. Not sure if that means a financial squeeze, but if they get down to just one house, after have two for several years, they should be sitting very well. So I don't think he's envying anybody for their body parts.

Another guy I am thinking of - H. He sold his coffee shop and he's retired military and also from a military contractor. Again, he's pretty darned successful, financially and personally. Has been married a long time, perhaps 50 years. Has grandchildren and probably great-grandchildren. He doesn't seem all that hateful either, he's a pretty nice guy.

I guess I could put J in that same boat. He's an accountant, doing pretty well, was bragging about his grandchildren at lunch (why not, they won some 4-H awards at the County Fair).

I am not seeing the hate, nor the envy in these guys. But that is anecdotal and not some kind of detailed study.
