Obama planning post-presidential snoozefest

President Obama is revealing his first priority when he leaves the White House: sleep.

The commander in chief said Monday that he intends to log some major zzz’s when his term ends.

“The first thing I’m probably going to do is catch up on my sleep,” Obama said to laughs during a question-and-answer session, according to a White House press pool report. “I’ll probably do that for a couple of months.”

Obama, who turns 54 on Tuesday, also heaped praise on his wife, Michelle, at a summit of young Africans participating in the Mandela Washington Fellowship program in Washington.

“I wouldn’t be who I was without Michelle,” he responded when asked about balancing his work and home life. "That's true professionally, but that's true in terms of my character and who I am."

Saying both he and his wife sacrifice things for each other so both can succeed as parents and professionals, Obama told the group, "You do not lift yourself up by holding somebody else down."

on "vacation", you're not really on vacation. And rest assured, the moment you mention going on vacation, somebody will object. He deserves major snoozing.
