3. The GOP refuses to realize that they need more than the votes of white males.

That's how Obama beat them. The GOP got the majority of votes from white males but Obama got enough votes from women and non-whites to win anyway.

You can no longer win a national election in the US by exclusively catering to white males. And the GOP is somehow refusing to accept that their decade-old campaign-strategy no longer works and that they must also cater to women and African-Americans and Latinos.
