Our stupid media (nth edition)

It is not the first time that Kerry's son-in-law is the topic of crazy speculations, but frankly, it is amazing that, considering the source and the fact that the wedding was largely publicized (I think the vice-president was there), the media would even bother to verify such an implausible information and then write about it.

Or, may be, every person with Iranian origin knows each other (or did Vanessa Kerry got married to satisfy her father's ambitions?). At this point, I am unsure what this crazyness is about, but it certainly does not tell us anything good concerning our media.
