Fairly simple..There is just no room in the middle..
Very frightening..But it is what it is..
and that is the state of politics in our country today..

(26,001 posts)The thing that always stuck with me about that interview was that she divided all politics up into "toxic" and "non-toxic."
I think she was absolutely right. And it's only gotten more acute since.
And yes, on the edge of the abyss as we are, there is no more middle.
