DU members that were circulators for the recall of Scott Walker stop in this thread and say hi!

As for the rest of the DU membership that are not Wisconsin residents just remember those of us that got TWICE the required signatures (almost 1M) and give us some credit.

I was a circulator for the recall of Scott Walker. I also demonstrated with many others.

Here's a recent article about what and why we gathered and about a million signed the recall petitions years ago.

Scott Walker's office obstructed probe of veterans money, investigators say (Mary Spicuzza 8-1-15 Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel)

And I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

and went to several (2 big, 2 smaller but still big) protests with my kids and two singalongs. My kids held signs in Menominee Falls on street corners. I helped a circulator friend of mine find venues with groups of people where we could appropriately have the petition signed.

I, to this day, do not believe that Walker won that recall election.

They were harassed more than once in the Falls. One time PeaceNikki posted that she was there and I tried to contact the girls to find her and band together. It didn't work, but bravo to all who went to "the belly of the beast." I was in Madison with my peeps, and was only harassed once.
