I'm not discounting Trump for one moment. . .

but it's not because of him but rather the stupid people that will want to vote him in.

Remember those people that said Jessie Ventura or "Ahnold" would NEVER get in? I remember interviews with college students in California saying they voted for "the Governator" because it would be cool to get his signature on their diploma. Geez people. I could see the same people trying to get Trump in because it would be cool to hear him say to Putin -- 'you're fired'.

Trump knows how to work the TV and the camera. He's got all the right buzz phrases. Unfortunately, with today's electorate, that's all that's needed.

Come on Democrats -- don't be lazy. This is a dangerous man.

but if for one second he thinks he can really win the nomination I do not see him stepping out. He has already stated he does not like to lose.

nor will he run third-party.

You think the Kochs or the RNC would allow either?

While his minions indulged in various criminal behaviors the whole time and indeed long after he was gone.

I don't discount Trump at all, it is absolutely possible he could get "elected" President.

Never discount an opponent..never!!!!!

What is very unlikely one moment, can become the inevitable at another. Events and personalities can affect what seems like logical outcomes. Raygun is a perfect example. In the very beginning, who thought that Obama would defeat Clinton? Harry Truman was considered a certain looser 4 months before the election. In early July of 48, it was written that the only one who believed that Truman had any chance at all on the presidential train, was Truman. ..nobody else.

not without a corrupt supreme court decision, of course, but the point is that if he can get to a virtual tie, so can trump.

i shudder at the thought the we might live through an experiment to see if we can elect a president even worse than shrub....
