Climate Warming Is Like An Old "B" Scifi Movie Slowing Unfolding.

All the bull on climate warming which is exactly what it is. Climate change is just a euphemism for what awaits us. And that term makes the reality sound almost benign. So many signs of trouble keep surfacing. Severe storms, drought, extreme heat waves, crazy weather events et al keep occurring all over the planet. And most events are NOT reported or go ignored. And if reported they are down played or minimized.

All of this blather is like an old sciifi movie where people become victims of a monster not seen. The protagonists run around looking for answers to mysterious events occurring on the public landscape. And they run into evidence of the real monster afoot. Eventually the real monster shows itself and it is already way late the game. And it takes some miraculous discovery to vanquish the beast and save humanity.

The deniers will deny deny until they are eaten. And with climate warming there will be no magic answer in the eleventh hour like that "B" science fiction movie where humanity is finally saved from itself.

Why deniers are not run off the public stage I do not know.

1. I actually prefer the term "climate change"

Because most people don't know of care about the science behind it- but they do see when it's not snowing, or when it is flooding more or when we have -15 degrees for weeks on end. The climate is getting more extreme and less hospitable to us.

As to the why of deniers...remember when the Tea Party supposedly had so much traction, and events were published where only a handful of people were there, and all the other BS about it? It had money behind it. Big money.

Climate change denial also has that. The entrenched interests of Capitalism are fighting tooth and nail not to do anything about it, because they know there is no solution to it that does not take their money and power away.
