Fellow Southerners

(I invite all other Southerners to copy this on any medium they want to)

One of the following two statements can be true:

1. People should "get over" slavery, because that was 150 years ago

2. That flag is a crucial part of our heritage, and must be preserved

At most one of those can be true. Either the past is dead or not.

If it is dead, then it's time for that surrendered flag to go the way of the dodo.

If it is not dead, it's time for the South to account for the plunder of black bodies and labor over the course of centuries.
