...that will make us look bad, so we're covering our asses":

These rules are simple logical and easy to follow!
1.) NO racial slurs or offensive remarks
2.) NO alcohol, we do know its illegal and that will be opportunity for tickets/arrests
3.) NO taunting other vehicles, flipping other people off during the ride
4.) NO burning any flags of any type regardless of which flag
5.) STAY peaceful, which means NO violence

Davis and Jackson and Lee, with confederate rally flags flapping everywhere around, out in that beautiful park where the KKK was reborn, and you remember what a handsome couple Rhett and Scarlett were, back before all those carpet-bagging outsider started agitating for civil rights, and you start to think about Lincoln starting all that unpleasantness at Fort Sumner or Obama trying to take away your guns so you won't be able to shoot folk like Mae Murray Dorsey and Dorothy Malcom, and you get thirsty with the sun beating down on your head, and pretty soon you might could start flipping the bird a bit or dropping that n-word now and then, not as a racist thing, of course, but just to show pride in your heritage
