that said in large, bold letters "Mean People Suck"
Below that, in smaller letters was "Nice People Swallow". It's stuck with my dirty mind ever since.

And this primary season promises to be particularly contentious - we have Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders both people who engender strong passions - I think things will continue to be rough throughout the primary season. Things will get better once we have a candidate.

The 2008 primaries was taught me how little my opinion was valued on the internet. I have been reading DU since 2003 off and on (didn't always have internet). I will continue to read because there are more posters I enjoy and respect than there are pot stirrers.
