I'm so tired of door-to-door salesmen!

It wouldn't be so bad if they would stop trying to bully me after I've said, 'No, Thank you'. I get times are tough and people are aggressively trying to make a living, but geez, who the heck wants to buy something from a jerk!

I am so miffed!

I miss having a hound around, but at this time and place in life, I can't.

I do, and I've gotten far, far fewer door knocks since I put that up.

I actually don't mind when the kids, food drives, etc... come around and I often donate or buy a candy bar. I guess it's time to buy a new sign. dang

They're dumber than a box of rocks. A "No Soliciting" sign won't stop them

I really just wish the guys coming to my door would extend the common courtesy of accepting a, 'No, thank you', and not ruin it for others.

I keep copies of the municipal statute in the bookshelf by the door. When they ring the bell I hand them a copy and tell them the cops are on the way. It tends to get rid of them pretty quickly. I've seen some of them literally run away.

either at the front door or on the phone. I don't want to be convinced to buy something I didn't previously want. I can make up my own mind as to what I need. I don't think a tv, radio or internet ad has ever motivated me to buy something, either.

Well maybe once a year someone will stop and ask to give me a free estimate for new windows but that's about it.
