Former Republican vice president nominee Sarah Palin waded into the fights over Planned Parenthood and the Confederate flag with a single Facebook post on Sunday.

I got a FB meme today equating the Confederate flag with Al Sharpton. If one is offended by the flag, then Sharpton must go as well. Except, I don't pay taxes to fly Al Sharpton in front of government buildings. I don't pay money to watch Al Sharpton...I don't even expend energy to watch Al Sharpton, because I don't like him. But somehow, to the right, his right to accept a contract on tv is exactly the same as paying tax dollars to fly a secessionist flag against the United States. These people are fucked up.

...art appreciation class. The professor was a total doofus, who fancied himself to be an outside-the-box thinker. One of our assignments was to write a compare-and-contrast page about the following items - a silk serigraph and a bulldozer. Makes about as much sense as this.
