Activists who removed Confederate flag from SC State House face judge

... One month ago, activist Bree Newsome climbed the pole and removed the flag. She was in a harness secured below by James Tyson. When Newsome got to the ground, she and Tyson were arrested. Both are charged with defacing state property. Newsome tweeted that she and Tyson have a trial date set for November.
