Mika B. just sounded off, royally pissed, on Morning JOe just now...

she's had it with Mike Huckabee and his "Obama's Iran deal is the HOlocaust" remark. She said anyone who said such a thing should not be considered fit for the office of President and "this should be a deal breaker."

Boy, was she disgusted...

I seem to remember Huckabee making the talking heads shows promoting his book, "God, Guns, and Gravy," and extolling how southerners were brought up to speak politely and not swear in the presence of women. This man is a grifter of the worst kind. A "prosperity Christian," who worships money.

which includes 100% of network TV. The networks are all owned by conglomerates who believe that the propaganda is worth more than ad revenue. They would take a loss by their network to increase their profits from their other businesses such as supplying the MIC.

How immoral do you have to be to knowingly manipulate Americans to the detriment of the country for your own personal gain? The sell out politicians and on air personalities of the networks etc., have no conscience!

I'm glad to see him back on in the daytime since I was only seeing him when I couldn't sleep and was up all night.

If they threw out Joe & Mike and put Thomas Roberts on between 7 and 9 AM, I'd watch MSNBC in the mornings. As it is, I watch CNN or Smithsonian (if I'm up that early) since I wouldn't be able to hold down my coffee with Joe Scaberous on the screen.

It's like I would assume Jews wouldn't feel I was worthy to comment on the Holocaust as a 54 year old not Jewish American. I have read a lot about it though and feel I'm somewhat knowledgable. It's the same with Vietnam. I assume someone that served over there isn't going to be impressed by what I know from the numerous books I've read about it. I'll probably piss them off by saying much, unless I'm asked what I think about it. Hucksterbee should keep his mouth shut on that one.

what she says is 100% true. She felt what I felt, too - dumbstruck and horrified at seeing historical artifacts which testify as to the crimes committed against them by the Germans/Nazis. When the tour guide took us to the actual oven, that's when I lost it completely - I had not prepared myself for it. Musicians, scholars, waiters, dockworkers, school children - stripped of everything that made them civilized people, marched to the gas chamber, and slaughtered like chickens or cows.

At any rate, long story short, she's right - it should be a deal breaker for any decent, thinking person.

So - do we think a tipping point is being reached?

Is some GOPer finally going to say something that goes too far and wakes people up?

I always think about that line during the McCarthy hearings that turned the tide: "Senator, have you no shame?". But I think we are beyond that point now. These GOPers have been behaving openly shamefully since the beginning of PBO's presidency.

Maybe Huckster's comment will be the tipping point.

This constant comparison to Nazis and Hilter is disgusting on so many levels but the thing that pisses me off more than anything is that it marginalizes ACTUAL victims of the Nazis.
