Louisiana gunman bought his gun legally despite criminal history..

What are the chances this leads to new gun laws being pasted in Congress? My guess is around 0 percent.

John Houser had been arrested for arson, and had a history of domestic violence. Despite this, Alabama law says it's OK for a person like this to legally buy a gun.

Not allowing felons through the NICS system, issuing a pickup order if one is wrongfully issued, and those responsible for picking them up should be charged with some crime for selling to a felon. Why isn't this a top priority for this president and administration?

but the system that determines whether a purchase is legal or illegal said it was legal. It leans towards avoiding Type I errors at the expense of making more Type II errors. We should change that.
