If you could make the case that the NRA is somehow sponsoring individuals to kill with the intent of affecting positive (for them) political change, you'd be closer to something credible. What you have now is silly hyperbole.

They aren't killing people to make a political point, they are letting people die to protect what they believe to be their freedom.

That is their sole purpose.
Guns are manufactured to maim, injure and kill. Their lying propaganda makes ISIS look like rank amateurs.

1. While the leadership might well be dedicated to protecting the profits of Gun Manufacturers, the rank and file probably feel differently.

2. The terror that these guns inflict is not directed towards political end; the gun manufacturers aren't killing people or hoping that their guns are used to kill innocents wantonly. It is a side effect of it; but it isn't the point to it. ISIS on the other hand, when they set up a bomb or stage an attack, are trying to kill people in order to effect political change.

3. Many Americans aren't afraid of widespread gun ownership; I'm sorry, but that's self evidently true. I'm uncomfortable with it personally (I don't own any guns myself), but they don't find private ownership of guns terrorizing.
