Act Blue.....acting red?

I guess this is GD and not GDP

A friend of mine donated to Act Blue in Bernie Sanders name shortly after he started his campaign. He was supposed to get a couple stickers and a yard sign. Weeks went by, and no merch. He tried several times contacting them, finally today he reached someone who told him to stuff it, go ask the campaign for merch. That's pretty shitty. My friend is seriously considering calling his credit card issuer and having them cancel the transaction due to fraud. With a refund, he'll probably donate direct to the campaign, he's an enthusiastic supporter.
Has anyone else had problems with Act Blue? Any suggestions? I'm donating direct to the campaign, but should I make sure not to donate through AB, and mention that to others?
Looking for feedback/suggestions.

I do know that it's a nightmare to navigate and try to get lists of donaters on the other side of it. They take a percentage and donate to Democrats. At what level I also do not know

That really sucks that they told your friend to stuff it. Someone needs to look into that.

Seven or eight donations so far, with no difficulties.

receive bumper stickers. My husband called last week and they were very nice about it. They said the response was unexpected and they were overwhelmed; they did not have enough bumper stickers for the number of donors. They apologized and told him they would send them out a.s.a.p.

Identical problem here. I've also noticed on Actblue's site, that they have an option to click on, if you are having problem's getting bumper stickers. As your friend experienced, they ultimately refer you to the Sanders people. This indicates it's a very, very common problem. I've also seen other inquiries on other sites. My quess is that Clinton people at Actblue are not routing the requests for the merchandise to the Sanders campaign. Acting red? There's another more plausible explanation. This is extremely important to the campaign, but I don't have the contacts to get anyone to move on it. If you are well-connected to the Sanders campaign or know someone who is, can you get them to act? There is so much fraud going on in this campaign. It's disgusting.
