Saw George Pataki today

He was trying to cross the street on 52nd St in NYC. It was gated off because Obama was in town. A bunch of cars had just gone by. It looked like he was talking to a cop about crossing in the middle of the block and the cop said no. He was visibly frustrated about being forced to walk around.

There was only a security guard with him and there was no other attention. I mentioned that he was there to some tourists. They said they were hoping to see the "real president."

I thought about asking him why. It makes no sense to me. He could have credibly run in 2000 and maybe 2008. He's so far out of things now.
