Donald Trump Attempts To Praise Vietnam Veteran, Accidentally Tweets Photo Of Murderer Instead

The hits just keep on comin'.

Donald Trump is having a hell of a time not only in the media, but on social networks as well. Since the first day of his campaign launch, Trump’s days have been riddled with offensive, racist comments, lost business deals, insults to fellow Republicans and war heroes, and numerous embarrassing social media flubs.

Most recently, The Donald has been pranked on Twitter (it wouldn’t be the first time!), and now users seem to be taking advantage of his over-sized, gullible ego — because it works every time! In the latest instance, Trump was fooled into thinking he was paying tribute to a “Vietnam vet,” who was actually a murderer. Quite the difference.

This Twitter mishap comes just days after Trump criticized 2008 Republican candidate John McCain for being captured during the Vietnam war. Always keeping it classy, Trump had stated that McCain was “not a war hero” – even though he himself cowardly dodged the draft through completely unethical means.

As Trump confidently believed that the man in uniform was the Vietnam veteran dad of one of his Twitter admirers, other more informed Twitter users quickly identified the man as former U.S. army officer and doctor Jeffrey MacDonald. It turns out, MacDonald murdered his pregnant wife and two daughters in 1979 and is serving three life sentences. Quite embarrassing for Trump, considering he is still receiving tons of criticism for his infuriating comments about McCain. Even his fellow Republicans have slammed the business mogul for his insensitivity and ignorance.

Really most people would have to try hard to be as batshit crazy as Trump.

like the ones Trump supposedly mistakenly used in his campaign materials and didn't notice their uniforms. That would have really made you go "hmmmm" regarding his sanity and his true intentions.
