Followup to older thread of mine entitled: It's Feb 16, 2015, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz is still DNC Chair.
If this individual is still DNC chair for much longer, the Democrats are guaranteed to remain the minority party in both the House and the Senate in the next election cycle -- and will probably not retain the executive office.
Furthermore, and needless to say, with Wasserman Schultz, you can kiss any chance of reversing the GOP's now-dominant position in statewide legislative offices goodbye for decades to come.
Again: there needs to be a nationwide movement of Democratic rank-and-file to run the Wasserman Schultz's out of party leadership positions. Needs to be done as ruthlessly and as decisively as possible -- and as soon as possible.

(17,064 posts)She and Bill Nelson call the shots in the Fl Dem Party. They aggressively keep progressives off the ballot, and rig party support to put their pet Third Way candidates on the ballot. Florida has about 750,000 more Dems than repukes, and elected Obama twice. Gore in 2000 too, if not for Bush and SCOTUS cheating. It's a very purple state, yet Dems hold no Cabinet positions, haven't held the Governors seat in many years, and are vastly outnumbered in the legislature. Morale is low. That's all because of DWS and Nelsons incompetence and cronyism. She's already lost Dem seats in US House and Senate in '10, '12, and '14....how many more times does she get to fail before getting fired?

but it does remind me a bit of the NRA. The leadership is completely out of touch with what most of their membership believes and wants.
